Consumer advice

The Swedish Consumer Agency does not have the possibility to answer individual questions or to intervene in individual disputes. But most Swedish municipalities can offer their citizens consumer advice. The consumer adviser in your municipality can give you advice on individual disputes and other financial matters. Consumer advisers work in close contact with The Swedish Consumer Agency. Search here for your adviser’s telephone number and e-mail address. Use the name of your municipality or district as the search word.

If you have questions or problems making purchases from countries within the EU you can get help free of charge from Konsument Europa which is a part of the Swedish Consumer Agency. In addition there are four consumer departments that will help you free of charge if your query concerns insurances, banking and finance issues, electricity or telephony and the Internet.
